"Jordan is my Country” a Competition launched by The Jordan Museum

The Jordan Museum in collaboration with the Ministry of education launched a drawing competition inspired by the history and civilization of  Jordan entitled “Jordan is my country”.

 

The contest aims at strengthening  national identity , encouraging students to explore the story of Jordan's history and civilization, learning the  Archaeological Museum objects, enforcing the communication between schools and the Jordan Museum , encouraging students to use their creativity to serve the environment and develop their professional skills and making them participate in their drawings in the contest.

 

The contest topics vary from basic ideas (History of Jordan), inspired by the story of the history and civilization of Jordan and other civilizations that have passed over it , evidences of which human creations that lived on its territory  and the museum  objects.

 

The competition involves schools students age ranging  : from 6 years to 9 years – 10 years to 13 years-14 years to 17 years.

 

The participation will be through schools and departments the drawings will be sent to the Ministry of education, or can be delivered directly to the Museum (Amman -Ras Al Ain).

 

The Museum has dedicated financial prizes and others at the end of contest .

A ceremony and special exhibition for best selected works will be held in the Museum .

 

The deadline to delivery is end of day Thursday, April 30, 2015.
