Explore the Ancient City of Petra at The Jordan Museum

 The exhibition Petra. Desert Wonder takes you on a journey of discovery through the ancient city of Petra. The exhibition halls on the ground and upper floors allow you to explore the most beautiful and impressive locations of Petra. Beautiful archaeological highlights are granted as a loan by the Department of Antiquities of Jordan. Set against wall-length photographs of the city, they revive Petra before your eyes. You will be introduced to the Nabataeans, who are the builders and inhabitants of the city, with their art, culture and religion. 

Exhibition opens daily from 10 am to 2 pm, except for Tuesdays & Fridays Ras Al’Ayn, ALi bin Abi Taleb St. next to Greater Amman Municipality.
