Research by Sydney University

The Jordan Museum has recently conducted a research survey of Jordanian views with regards to archaeological inheritance in collaboration with Dr Kate da Costa, University of Sydney an Endeavour Post-doctoral Fellow. One aspect of this research was to make a short video of people involved professionally with archaeology in Jordan, speaking about what archaeology means to them as Jordanians. We had anticipated that each edited statement will last around 2 minutes and will be put together with similar statements made by 10 participants in the wider questionnaire survey. This video will be a resource for the Museum in the future and might be used as part of exhibitions. It will also support the quantitative questionnaire, currently being administered in Amman.
